good news
The Cleveland Browns signed sixth-round pick Lawrence Vickers and seventh-round choice Justin Hamilton to four-year contracts Friday.
Vickers ran for 635 yards and 12 touchdowns and had 70 catches for 572 yards and three touchdowns while playing fullback at Colorado.
Hamilton started off at Virginia Tech as a wide receiver before moving to halfback, then free safety before his senior season. He intercepted three passes.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

Officially retired
This is great news. Wish him the best and look forward to watching him play.
do you know the terms of his deal?
LIFE IS A SPORT
last i talked to him , he said prob round minimum , maybe a lil more
The signing bonus is what he will get, the rest depends on wheather he will be with the browns for 4 years. NFL gm's give players longer term deals and backload the contracts so if the player is cut, they wont make as much money as they would in the last couple of years of their contracts. And no im not talking about him getting cut, Im just talking about how contracts are set up. Great players are cut every year because their contracts are near the end and the money has been backloaded which forces teams to cut them to stay under the cap. Look at Tennesee and Samari Rolle as an example. The longer the contract the easier it is to prorate the money over the period. I think the rule now is that you can only have a 15% increase in salary from one year to the next because teams like Washington would pay a player 1 million in year one and 15 million in year 4, but cut the guy before they ever got to year 4 so they really only got their signing bonus.
Glad to see the youngin is gonna be playing. Hope he makes an impact and is around for a long time.
I've been trying to read various Browns boards. The earliest stuff I read was good from coaches, but we all know that coaches early will build some up. Still he signed, now he can focus on nothing but working his butt off.
